Whispering Willows Poncho – Crochet Pattern

The Whispering Willows Poncho is a beautiful summer wrap. Made in the right colors this poncho can dress up any evening attire with it’s elegant look. It can be a cute swim top cover, with a cute pair of shorts, because of it’s free flowing design. And, it can add a fun whimsical look to a simple jeans and t-shirt day!

The stitch combination in the Whispering Willows Poncho creates a lovely texture and natural lay of the accessory allowing a slight breeze to go through, but there is still enough close stitches to keep you warm.

About the Whispering Willows Poncho Pattern

The pattern comes in only 2 sizes because ponchos have a forgiving fit and will fit a range of sizes. The pattern has a small/medium size as well as a large/XLarge size. You can easily add additional rows to make the poncho longer to cover more of the arm and/or to add length to the design.

Made in a lighter worsted weight yarn and a crochet hook I (5.5 mm), the Whispering Willows Poncho works up quicker than you might think.

Precious Newborn Romper Crochet Pattern

precious romper crochet pattern

There is nothing sweeter than sleeping babies and I adore the popular trend that photographers are capturing this precious moment. The only thing that can make these babies cuter is a delicate romper. The Precious Newborn Romper has the beautiful texture of a lacey mohair that adds to the snugglyness of this shoot.

The popular rompers are very difficult to find in a crochet pattern. I designed a Classic Romper at the beginning of the year and it was such a success I decided to design a one in a lacy look and now I get to share the Precious Newborn Romper pattern with all of you.

The romper is designed as a photo prop for newborns up to about 2 weeks old and will fits a newborn between 6-12 pounds (newborns in the sample photos are 6 & 8 pounds).

The pattern was made using Knit Picks Aloft yarn. However, any lacey mohair yarn will work up if you check and match the gauge. The Precious Newborn Romper is made with less than 1 skein of yarn.

O’Christmas Tree Skirt & Long John Stocking Pattern Release

Christmas is such an exciting time of year, perhaps one of my favorite holidays. Every year I love trying to find the best tree and go a step up from the year before. I feel like you cannot beat a fresh Christmas tree like the ones found at https://mrgreentrees.com/ – the smell is just the best! Anyway, this year I am going to try something new and put a new tree skirt around the bottom! I am so excited to wrap up the O’Christmas Tree Skirt CAL and offer the pattern in full to everyone! This pattern is being released just in time for you to make one for your tree this year. But it isn’t the only pattern being released {make sure to check out the last part of the blog post for a fun coordinating pattern}.

O'Christmas Tree Skirt

The O’Christmas Tree Skirt is made in Knit Picks Brava worsted weight yarn, it features the mini bean stitch that shows a lovely texture throughout the body of the skirt only to transition with a fun bobble into the beautiful colorwork of cables. The eye appeal will go with most holiday decor, whether it be traditional, whimsical or truely classic. Just switch up your colors for a completely different look and enjoy seeing the pattern come together in full.

O'Christmas Tree Skirt

After designing the O’Christmas Tree Skirt I knew I had to design a fun and unique Christmas Stocking… so, it didn’t take long to come up with the Long John Christmas Stocking.

Long John Stockings Crochet Pattern

Seriously fun!!! Everyone will comment on how darling these are as they are strung by the fire. The Long John Christmas Stockings are made in the same worsted weight yarn and feature the same beautiful texture of the mini bean stitch.

Gift Card Holder Too!

Not only are these seriously cute, but the button flap, dubs as a gift card holder. This adds so much charm to these little britches.
