Spring has sprung and it won’t be long until summer is in full swing! I love this time of year and the newness of crochet projects. Our mind shifts from warm cowl, scarves, hats and blankets to fun wraps for around the pool, home accessories and small projects. So, this is the perfect time to share my latest 3 in 1 Summer Wrap crochet pattern.

The 3 in 1 wrap is ideal to toss into your bag for everyday use. If a slight chill comes into the air you can easily grab this wrap and drape it across your shoulders for just enough of a layer to warm you a bit. The open stitches allow for a breeze to get through – and also make the wrap a quick project which we all kind of like.

Are you headed to the store in your leggings and just need a little cover up? Once again, this is the wrap for you! A quick knot around your hips and it provides a little coverage and a very sporty look. You’ll feel more confident as you run in and out of shops.

Class up an old skirt to give your outfit a little boost. This was my daughters favorite way to wear the wrap. It provided the fun colors that she loves to wear and the softness was just an added bonus. Or better yet, wear it tied around your waist as you sport your new summer swimwear at the pool or beach.

About the 3 in 1 Wrap

The wrap is made with Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn which creates these fantastic summer colorways. The yarn naturally changes from one color to the next so no need to be changing yarn colors. The yarn has a very soft feel to it, so having it next to your skin is no problem at all.

About the pattern

The pattern comes in a child/youth size and an adult size. Materials Needed to completed the pattern are as follows:

• Hook size J (6mm)
• Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable (Worsted Weight Yarn)   
•             Sample is made in color “Candied”
•             Child Sizes – used about 280 yards (full skein)
•             Ladies Size – uses about 530 yards (almost 2 full skeins)
• Scissors
• Yarn Needle
