Lion Brand Rewind was the perfect yarn to use in these crochet patterns. Not only is it a bulky home décor yarn, it is also very soft and easy to work with. When I received my yarn I was in awe over how lovely the colors where.
Each design was created with the idea that they could coordinate. However, each pattern is unique in stitches and was designed with the purpose of them being useful. I truly believe you will love crocheting each design and hope enjoy the different techniques use.
stuff basket is a useful home decor pattern
In our everyday life we all could use a basket for out “stuff”, a place to throw those random items when you enter your home {such as keys, wallet, loose coins, notes}. If you are a little more organized, a basket is a great way to keep a project together for easy access when you need it.
The Stuff Basket is a great size, not too big and not too small. The added circular handles (which you can find HERE) brings an unexpected touch and makes moving the basket easy. The front of the basket features the word “stuff” while the sides are not just plan but have a flower with branches to add a bit of color.
Hello Entry Way mat
An entry way mat needs to be a thick fabric, so the stitches took some time to figure out what would work well and hold up. The simplicity of the look is attractive and welcoming.
The entry way mat is made in the same Lion Brand Rewind Yarn, so you will want to add a rug stopper underneath to hold it in place, similar to this one, found HERE.
fresh market tote
The tote was one of my favorite designs to crochet. I am not sure if it was the combination of stitches throughout the pattern, or the changing colors, or just the idea of the tote. The final size is 18″ wide by 14″ tall, a great size for using at a farmers market.
Cozy Pillow Cover Home Décor Pattern
As I was putting together the designs for this book I knew right away that I had to include a pillow cover. Pillows are probably the easiest way to change up a room. New pillows on a couch make an entire room look fresh and new. Many people even change their pillows for the holidays, it’s so easy!
The Cozy Pillow Cover will work in practically any room: an entry way bench, a living room couch, a decorative throw pillow in your bedroom {on the bed or a corner chair). It can also be a creative and great gift for newly weds, as a house warming gift or just because.
The pillow cover will need a pillow form (16″ by 16″), such as this one HERE. The pillow cover features many of the same details you will also see in the coordinating Relax & Unwind Blanket, they make a great set!

A home décor pattern booklet wouldn’t be complete without a blanket. The coziness of wrapping up and reading a book in a handmade blanket is the essential must have design. It essentially {and literally} says to “relax and unwind”…
The blanket is an ideal size for a throw blanket, finished it will measure about 42″ wide by 60″ long. Again, even though this is made using a home décor yarn, it is so soft! You will love crocheting the unique stitches to create this graph.
