Bring the beauty of the forest into your home, or cabin, with the Forest Pines Blanket, a cozy crochet throw that celebrates the timeless charm of a towering pine tree. This design features the bold silhouette of a pine tree framed in a modern split style, giving the blanket both a contemporary, modern, and nature-inspired look. Whether you’re a lover of the great outdoors, decorating a woodland-themed space, or making a gift for someone who feels at home among the pines, this blanket is sure to be a cherished piece.
As part of my Woodland Collection, the Forest Pines Blanket was created to highlight the simple yet powerful beauty of the forest. The clean split silhouette style makes the pine tree stand out, while the overall design stays modern and versatile — perfect for cabins, rustic décor, or cozying up on cool evenings.
Taking the work out of Color Work
The pattern uses my signature color-changing crochet technique to achieve crisp, clean lines without the hassle of weaving in endless ends. The result is a blanket that looks polished and professional while being fun to create. Whether you’re making it for yourself or as a heartfelt handmade gift, the Forest Pines Blanket brings a touch of the outdoors into every stitch.

If you’d like to take the work out of crocheting color changes and learn the method I used to make this blanket, consider taking my Color Changing Made Easy course. It will guide you through the exact process step-by-step so you can confidently take on this design and many more.
Woodland Style Blanket Collection
This blanket was originally designed as part of a collection of six woodland-themed throw blankets, each featuring a modern split silhouette style. Every design in the series highlights a unique element of the forest, bringing together nature-inspired details in a bold, contemporary way.
