Are you ready to bring some rhythm and harmony to your crochet hooks? I’m thrilled to introduce the music-inspired design—the Music Note Blanket! Featuring bold, bright pink shades and crisp white music notes, this blanket is a vibrant celebration of music, creativity, and color.
This design is part of my popular Music to My Soul collection and showcases the magic of color-changing crochet techniques. Whether you’re a music lover, a musician, or just someone who loves a good pop of color in your projects, this pattern will have you humming along as you stitch.
The Inspiration Behind the Music Note Blanket
Music has a way of touching the soul, just like a handmade crochet gift. I wanted to design something that combined both of these passions into a cozy, expressive piece. The Music Note Blanket is made using a bold, variegated yarn filled with bright pink hues that dance across the rows. The white music notes pop beautifully against the colorful background, creating a design that’s both modern and timeless.

This blanket is perfect for gifting to music teachers, students, or anyone who finds joy in a beautiful melody.
A Pattern That Strikes the Right Chord
The Music Note Blanket is crocheted using my favorite color changing technique—a method I teach in detail in my Mastering Color Changes Course. This technique gives the design its crisp, clean look and allows you to switch between colors with confidence (and minimal yarn mess!).
Even though the blanket looks intricate, it’s made with just basic stitches and my easy-to-follow pattern. If you’re new to color changes or want to refine your skills, my course is the perfect companion to this project.
