The popular Winter Wishes Scarf and Headband inspired another design using the same rich textured stitches. The Winter Wishes Cowl is made as an oversize cowl that is so warm and cozy.

The Cowl can be made with or without fringe so it will suit your style. Have it lay nicely capping the shoulders for a warm layer or wear it as a triangle scarf (more of a hang around the neck) for a cozy feel. Either way, you will love the look.

About the Winter Wishes Cowl Pattern

The pattern comes in three sizes for adults: small, medium, large/Xlarge. The Winter Wishes Cowl works up quick. It is made with a worsted weight (#4) yarn and is crocheted with a size I (5.50 mm) hook or crochet hook J (6.00 mm) depending on the size you make.

The cowl is crocheted as a flat piece that is stitched together at the end to create the wrap. A full photo tutorial on how to add fringe is also included.

Make the cowl in a solid color for a bold look or switch it up with self-striping yarn or ombre for a fun twist. Check out some of the samples made by my pattern testers below:
