A Crochet Request Come to Life: New Sports Blanket Pattern with Signature Color Changes

Some of my favorite crochet designs begin with a simple conversation.

This newest sports blanket pattern is extra special because it wasn’t originally my idea—it was requested by a fellow crocheter named Vanessa. She reached out asking if I would create this design, and I immediately loved the idea. After bringing the concept to life using my signature color-changing crochet technique, Vanessa generously volunteered to crochet the sample blanket so everyone could see how beautifully it works up.
