As part of my Music to My Soul Blanket Collection, I wanted to create a design that wasn’t focused on just one instrument. Instead, this blanket celebrates the language that connects them all—music itself.

Many of the designs in the Music to My Soul Collection feature a specific instrument, such as the saxophone, trombone, tuba, or clarinet. But what about the musician who plays more than one instrument?

That’s where this design fits perfectly.
The Musical Clefs Crochet Blanket features recognizable musical clefs worked as silhouettes against a solid background. Without focusing on one particular instrument, the design represents music as a whole.
It’s a simple concept, but one that carries a lot of meaning.
A Special Thank You to Michelle
This design has a particularly special story because it began with a request from Michelle.
Michelle reached out with the idea for a blanket featuring musical clefs, and I loved the concept. It was the perfect way to create a Music to My Soul design that could represent musicians across different instruments and musical backgrounds.
But Michelle didn’t stop with the request—she also offered to make the blanket herself!
I am so grateful that she took the time to crochet this design and then generously shared photos of her finished blanket with all of us.
Seeing the finished blanket gave me the opportunity to share the design the way I envisioned it, while also allowing you to see how beautiful it looks as a completed project.
