Canoe Mountain Designs designed this amazing hat called the Mountain Hope Beanie. Here is a note from Audrey, please take a minute to read.
I am thrilled to be able to contribute to the Cancer Challenge this year! Our lives have been touched by so much cancer over the years and I have been donating hats since I learned to crochet about 12 years ago. The color for Colon Cancer is Dark Blue. I chose Colon Cancer because my husband had surgery for this cancer about 6 years ago. He bounced back quickly and has returned to a normal life thankfully.
While I was thinking about what type of hat to design, I thought I would create a pattern in 3 sizes: Men’s, Women’s & Children’s. I also wanted something that would be fairly quick & easy, but still have some texture. Pom Poms are always a favorite of mine, so there is always the option of adding a faux fur pom pom or making your own yarn pom pom.

I love this challenge as I frequently do hats for charities – whether it be cancer centers, hospitals or local support groups for needy families.
I am having problems using the CC2019 coupon codes on some of the hats.
Thank you,
Double check the code on the designers website, also, some are only available for a limited time.
I have been very ill as of late, when I can, I’ve been downloading the hat patterns to make and donate as soon as I can! Thank you, all for your generosity in your donations of the patterns. I’m asking if you have a downloadable list of all the hats names so, I can go back through and check them all off to fulfill my commitment! This checklist would be a great help to me as I’m so unorganized!
Thank you, very much please let me know
One will be posted at the end of the challenge 🙂
I could use a checklist, too!
